I bought a $700 Sony HDD camcorder and was quite dissatisfied with the video excellent,I determined to return it and go with the Canon. It's sad that a $400 digital camera requires superior video top quality than a $700 cam.The pics it takes appears that of professional top quality. Cannot go incorrect with a Canon.
